Longest Night

Longest Night Service

A Service of Reflection and Hope

First Congregational Church

United Church of Christ

220 West Tulare Avenue

December 21, 2019

5:30 p.m.

Not everyone is up & cheery for the Christmas Holidays. If you are facing or have faced

  • The death of a loved one
  • Life after divorce or separation
  • The loss of a job or financial stress, insecurities
  • Living with health-related issues

Please join us either as someone who needs a time to heal and be given hope or as a supporter of those who do.  Most of us have some issue we need to deal with – even during this glorious time of Advent.

This service is reflective, accepting where we really are, and holds out healing and hope.

[ie on August 7 we will discuss scriptures for August 11th]  You will be given a monthly booklet that you can read the scriptures before Tuesdays but it is not necessary. No one will “teach” and participation is voluntary. You can just come and listen if you choose.
