What A Bargain from Women’s Fellowship!
Throughout the summer, Gloria Hamilton has worked to create this beautiful little birdhouse church. Now you have a chance to win it! It comes complete with doors that open and many of our church’s favorite words of wisdom. Women’s Fellowship will be offering tickets for just five dollars apiece from now until our November meeting. You’ll find the church and tickets for our drawing on display in the social hall. There’s no need to be at the meeting to make it yours. If yours is the lucky ticket, we’ll call! What a bargain!
With the colder months coming soon Outreach will be in need of socks. New or gently used.

Dear Friends and Community Leaders,
I would appreciate it if you could spread the word about a new course we are launching September 14. I have a strong interest and passion for helping our Veterans in the area of moral injury and doing anything we can to impact/lessen the suicide rates in this country. Please see the attachment.
All Veterans and Families: Reboot Combat Recovery, a 12 Week Course for Veterans and families will be begin September 14. This course will help combat Veterans and families heal from the spiritual and moral injuries of war associated with post-traumatic stress and combat trauma. Moral injury can manifest itself in the form of anger, anxiety, depression, social withdrawal, and most tragically, suicide. The symptoms are often linked to deep-rooted soul wounds related to unresolved grief, distrust of God/others, unforgiveness, bitterness, and loss of identity.
